Concept Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop, explore, and create concept art for environments, props, vehicles, and characters.

• Work closely with our Art Director and designers to help bring the game to fruition.

• Collaborate with 3D artists who will be working from your designs, assisting them in realizing the vision established in the concept art.

• Maintain organization of all concept-related images, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to the team.

• Participate in playtesting the game, providing feedback as we collaboratively develop projects.

• Take into account gameplay requirements and the player's viewpoint while designing the aesthetic of the game world.

⛳️ Requirements

• A portfolio showcasing your artistic abilities.

• A keen design sensibility and refined artistic taste.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a concept artist in the gaming or film industry.

• Proficiency in fundamental art techniques, including anatomy, perspective, color, value, form, and shape language.

• High-level skills in crafting fictional worlds, with the capability to design all components of those worlds: environments, characters, props, vehicles, etc. We prefer not to hire artists with limited skill sets.

• Experience in collaborating and guiding 3D artists in the realization of your designs.

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work alongside various team members.
