This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Accountable for developing and managing their sales pipeline.
• Acquire leads beyond their area of expertise and utilize closed-loop lead management to ensure appropriate assignment and follow-up by team members.
• Stay informed about competitors within accounts to strategically better position the company's offerings.
• Leverage specialized knowledge to identify new opportunities and enhance existing ones to build the pipeline and drive pursuit.
• Assist Account Managers and contribute insights regarding business development and solution expertise.
• Formulate quota objectives and establish future direction for the designated product category.
• Some specialists may also be tasked with selling outsourcing agreements.
• Build and maintain a professional, consultative relationship with clients, including C-level executives for mid-to-large accounts, by understanding their unique business needs within their industry.
• Minimum of 8 years of advanced sales experience is essential.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred, along with relevant professional experience in technology sales.
• Proven record of achieving progressively higher quotas, engaging with a diverse range of business customers, and interacting at higher customer levels.
• Significant sales experience in the industry and with similar products.
• Project management skills are required.
• 2-3 years of experience in product sales within the desired specialty.
• Preference for candidates located in the DC & VA area, with the ability to travel 25-40% within the assigned territory.
