Comptroller – ENG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily accounting functions, encompassing general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll supervision.

• Generate precise monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual reports, and financial analyses for leadership and Board evaluation.

• Track cash flow, manage banking relationships, and uphold robust financial controls and compliance protocols.

• Spearhead audit preparations and collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

• Assist in organizational financial planning, process enhancements, and the documentation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Provide additional support to clients with various tasks and responsibilities as required, aligning with the role and overall business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controllership.

• Prior experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or behavioral health sectors is highly desirable.

• Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel skills are mandatory; experience with NetSuite is a significant advantage.

• Strong grasp of financial reporting, audit preparation, cash flow management, and internal controls.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

• Must be available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines).

• Must be able to start within 2 weeks from the job offer.

• Comfortable using time-tracking tools (e.g., Time Doctor).

• Required to have a personal laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and a webcam.

• Must possess a reliable internet connection (minimum of 50 Mbps).

• Should have backup equipment available in case of power or internet outages.
