Comptroller – Bilingual ENG – SPN/POR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily accounting activities, which encompass general ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll supervision.

• Generate precise monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual analyses, and financial reports for review by leadership and the Board.

• Supervise cash flow, manage banking relationships, and uphold robust financial controls and compliance measures.

• Facilitate audit preparations and collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

• Assist in organizational financial planning, process enhancements, and the documentation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Provide support to clients with additional tasks and responsibilities as required, aligning with the role and overarching business goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles.

• Previous experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or behavioral health settings is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel skills is essential; experience with NetSuite is a significant advantage.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit preparation, cash flow management, and internal controls.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

• Must be available to work during US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines).

• Should be ready to start within 2 weeks of receiving the job offer.

• Comfortable with using time-tracking software (e.g., Time Doctor).

• Must have a personal laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and a webcam.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps.

• Access to backup equipment in case of power and internet interruptions.
