This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Assess and document internal and external blade damage using a blade card.
• Carry out composite repairs on surfaces of both internal and external blades.
• Offer Lock Out & Tag Out (LOTO) support for wind turbine generators as needed.
• Conduct "status" checks, including the clearing of "error" codes on turbines.
• Operate blade access platforms, boom trucks, and utilize rope access at heights exceeding 300ft.
• Relay site status updates to back-office management and local customer site personnel.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of Abaris Wind Blade Repair R-5 / Abaris Advanced Tooling Repair.
• Completion of EDFps Composite Key Fundamentals Training.
• Obtained 8 or more hours of on-the-job training from a Senior or Advanced Composite Repair Technician.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of demonstrating basic computer skills.
• Able to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
