Compliance Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will manage operational compliance cases related to Transaction Monitoring, KYC, merchant evaluations, and licensing obligations.

• You will assess incoming alerts, evaluate the details, and determine appropriate actions.

• You will meticulously document investigations and decisions.

• You will collaborate with existing compliance and transaction-monitoring tools and support their ongoing enhancement.

• You will pinpoint opportunities to refine current processes and assist in the efficient and pragmatic development of compliance procedures.

• You will closely cooperate with colleagues from Customer Success, Product, and Operations, as well as external partners.

• You will receive training in additional Customer Success areas and, as necessary, provide operational support, especially in onboarding, service, telephony, and ticket management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Compliance Operations, Risk Operations, FinTech, Payments, Banking, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, or a similar field.

• A highly organized approach to work, with the capability to analyze, evaluate, and document issues with precision.

• The ability to manage operational cases independently and meticulously, recognizing when further review or escalation is needed.

• Pragmatic decision-making capabilities and a readiness to take responsibility for your own cases.

• Dependability in managing multiple cases and subjects concurrently.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong service orientation, enjoying customer-facing interactions via tickets (HubSpot) or phone.

• A willingness to enhance existing processes with your expertise.

• Business-fluent proficiency in German and English (C1).
