This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and enhance governance documentation, including policies, standards, registers, review cycles, and decision-making records.
• Assist in compliance and assurance initiatives such as SOC 2, PIPEDA compliance, ISO 9001, along with other relevant frameworks and certifications.
• Organize evidence, maintain control documentation, track findings and remediation efforts, and manage stakeholders and timelines.
• Investigate privacy, security, quality, and regulatory standards, translating insights into actionable work plans and documentation.
• Sustain Aeon’s regulatory readiness roadmap and coordinate contributions from both internal and external parties.
• Document security controls, policies, procedures, and governance practices in collaboration with Engineering and technical teams.
• Align controls with applicable frameworks and ensure documentation and evidence are audit-ready.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), enhance workflows, bolster knowledge and documentation management, and identify opportunities for AI utilization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, subject-matter experts, and external consultants to drive projects to successful completion.
• Monitor workstreams for emerging needs, gaps, or risks and escalate significant issues as necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, governance, compliance, or a related field.
• Preferably, familiarity with a regulated environment.
• Outstanding writing and documentation capabilities.
• Proficient in transforming technical, regulatory, legal, and operational information into clear, precise, and practical documentation.
• Competent in coordinating cross-functional projects, managing priorities and dependencies, maintaining ownership and timelines, and escalating risks as needed.
• Exhibits sound judgment, integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness in navigating unfamiliar requirements and sourcing information and expertise.
• Possesses curiosity and learning agility, with the capability to comprehend business and technology and tackle increasing complexity.
• Nice-to-have experience in Canadian healthcare technology, digital health, clinical operations, electronic medical record systems, regulated SaaS, healthcare privacy and regulatory requirements, Privacy Impact Assessments, SOC 2, ISO standards, audits, certification readiness, risk management, vendor governance, policy lifecycle management, SaaS, cloud environments, information security, GRC or compliance automation platforms, contract administration, or collaboration with legal counsel and specialists.
• Occasional travel for work-related purposes may be necessary.
