
Compliance Officer – Aged Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Assist operational teams in fulfilling their obligations related to aged care regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
• Provide secretariat assistance for governance committees, compliance meetings, and working groups.
• Prepare meeting agendas, document minutes, track action items, and perform follow-up activities.
• Coordinate audit, accreditation, and assurance initiatives.
• Gather evidence, engage stakeholders, organize meetings, prepare reports, and facilitate remediation.
• Maintain compliance frameworks, registers, policies, procedures, and related documentation.
• Support compliance monitoring and reporting, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with governance and compliance systems, including document control, risk registers, and obligation tracking.
• Implement and monitor corrective actions resulting from audits, reviews, incidents, and regulatory findings.
• Enhance compliance processes, reporting, and governance practices through ongoing improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to promote safe, effective, and person-centered care.
• Previous experience in an administration, coordination, governance, compliance, quality, risk, or project support role.
• Familiarity with aged care, healthcare, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, accreditation, or quality management settings.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and the wider aged care regulatory framework.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable working across various systems and reporting tools.
• Skilled in preparing reports, meeting documentation, and compliance records.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels within the organization.
• Proactive in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and achieving high-quality outcomes.
• Must have the ability to work from any location in Australia.
