This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the yearly assessment of compensation bands, benchmarking against market data (Radford/Pave) and providing insights to the business.
• Take ownership of the annual Radford compensation survey submission and analyze the resulting data.
• Manage compensation planning cycles from start to finish, encompassing bonus and merit cycles, utilizing Pave and/or Workday.
• Collaborate with Recruiting/PBPs to ensure consistent and competitive offer recommendations, acting as a compensation advisor throughout the candidate journey.
• Facilitate global expansion initiatives by creating competitive and compliant compensation frameworks across all operational jurisdictions.
• Work in tandem with the HRIS team to transfer compensation data from spreadsheets to Workday, enhancing data integrity and accessibility.
• In your initial 90 days, you will evaluate current compensation bands, assist with the Radford survey submission, and establish relationships with key stakeholders across PBPs, Finance, and Recruiting.
• Proven experience in compensation, total rewards, or a related HR function — preferably within a high-growth tech startup.
• Strong analytical abilities; adept at handling large data sets, constructing models in Excel/Sheets, and translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with compensation survey data (Radford/Pave is highly preferred).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — capable of presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
• Comfortable functioning as both a strategist and executor; willing to take initiative and accomplish tasks without a large supporting team.
• Experience with global compensation, including collaboration with or in an EOR (e.g., Remote, Deel), is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of Pave and/or Workday is a strong plus.
• Prior experience in a tech startup is preferred — you thrive in environments characterized by ambiguity, rapid pace, and shifting priorities.
• Flexible & Remote-First Culture: Work remotely with opportunities for team meetups, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, as well as phone and internet expenses.
• Our Approach to Equity: Receive stock options upon hire and promotion. Additionally, you can participate in secondary offerings and have a generous 10 years to exercise your options (yes, you read that correctly: 10 years!).
• 100% Covered Health Insurance: We cover all your health, vision, and dental insurance premiums for you and your dependents. Nothing is deducted from your paycheck.
• ∞ Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need — to perform at your best, it's essential to recharge and reset.
• 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: We provide 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, with the flexibility to use it all at once or throughout your child's first year.
