📋 Description

• Manage an established community with over 25,000 members.

• Lead and support our dedicated team of moderators and community volunteers.

• Supervise and coordinate messaging and communications across various platforms regarding releases, updates, and events.

• Organize 2-3 engaging community events such as housing showcases, outfit contests, group play sessions, and screenshot challenges.

• Send tailored outreach emails to influencers using our templates and targets, track responses, and follow up to foster meaningful relationships.

• Create and post authentic Reddit threads in communities like r/MMORPG, r/indiegaming, r/pixelart, and r/cozygaming to initiate genuine discussions.

• Compile weekly community reports that highlight key feedback themes, sentiment trends, content performance, and growth.

• Manage and enhance activity within the Community Hub.

• Collaborate with established guilds across various platforms and integrate them smoothly into Soulbound.

• Develop vibrant engagement loops in Discord through guilds, factions, weekly challenges, leaderboards, and rewards to strengthen player connections.

• Curate a consistent flow of user-generated content, including fan art features, housing tours, fashion spotlights, and meme roundups.

• Lead a Content Creator Program that offers early access and spotlight features to celebrate and empower community creators.

• Serve as the vital link to the development team by conveying player insights and feedback to influence the future of Soulbound.

• Establish a media training and vetting program for team members interested in maintaining public profiles.

• Oversee our social media channels and utilize effective tools to schedule and share captivating content.

• Collaborate with talented content creators and streamers to develop engaging content while actively promoting their work within the community.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have extensive experience with MMOs—not just “I tried one once.” You’ve participated in a guild and understand housing culture, cosmetic fashion, endgame loops, and what keeps players engaged. You can name five MMOs and discuss what each excels at.

• You have experience managing a Discord community with over 5,000 members. You’ve moderated, organized events, set up bots, and handled drama at late hours.

• You have managed a video game community and ideally participated in a game launch.

• You are familiar with meme culture, and your posts convey a genuine tone rather than a corporate voice.

• You are a proactive individual who responds to relevant Reddit threads without needing prompts.

• You possess a thick skin, as MMO communities can be harsh; you engage in a constructive manner and have media training.

• You will play the game extensively.

• **Bonus Points**

• Experience with a game launch (or significant involvement as a community member, guild leader, or fan site operator).

• An existing gaming social media presence, even if small.

• Ability to create short-form videos; clip gameplay and transform it into TikToks or Reels using tools like CapCut, Premiere, or DaVinci.

• Proficiency in more than one language.

• Experience with influencer platforms.

• Background in pixel art or cozy gaming communities.

🏝️ Benefits

• Type: Full-time, contract (with potential for permanence).

• Location: Remote (UK timezone preferred, EU/NA overlap required).

• Hours: Flexible, but anticipate some evening and weekend availability as the community is active beyond standard hours.

• Compensation: Competitive.

• Join a small, passionate indie team of over 20 members. Enjoy a flat organizational structure where your ideas are valued and your contributions are recognized.
