Community Growth Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and mapping of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives.

• Direct off-page community growth and reputation strategies across platforms such as Reddit, Quora, affiliate creator networks, and external review sites.

• Design and execute a content strategy to enhance visibility across AI search engines and large language models (LLMs).

• Create, edit, and produce discovery-focused content, including search-optimized articles, outlines, and video scripts.

• Establish the strategic framework and execution plan for Facet’s Learn site.

• Co-manage the master content calendar and incorporate AEO keywords and community insights into content workflows.

• Act as lead advisor for expert-driven CFP content and collaborate with financial planning specialists.

• Track shifts in generative-search algorithms and pinpoint opportunities for user-intent optimization and off-site citations.

• Build, nurture, and expand Facet’s organic community presence on Reddit and other discussion-oriented platforms.

• Conduct daily social listening, monitor brand sentiment, and relay discussions to marketing and PR teams.

• Manage Reddit discussions and posts as an engaged participant in personal finance dialogues.

• Oversee the daily management and growth of the external review ecosystem.

• Collaborate with the Growth team to develop and enhance an Affiliate Creator / Brand Advocate program.

• Work with PR, Content, TOF, and Marketing teams to identify gaps in external publications.

• Evaluate community sentiment and discovery metrics to assess the ROI of off-page growth initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in modern SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, or Community Management.

• Ideally, experience within Fintech, Finance, or another highly regulated YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) industry.

• A proven portfolio showcasing copywriting and editing across editorial articles, social media copy, video/multimedia scripts, and forum discussions.

• Strong understanding of AI-driven search and experience in integrating AI tools into writing and research processes.

• Knowledge of how LLMs crawl and reference information.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing and building organic brand authority on Reddit or similar community platforms.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with internal CFP subject matter experts and external affiliate creators.

• Experience in analyzing multi-platform data utilizing social listening tools, Google Analytics, and SEO software like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Sprout Social.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, project management, and content calendar management skills.

• A customer-obsessed mindset focused on addressing financial anxieties, questions, and motivations.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Capability to simplify complex financial concepts into language that resonates with the community.

• Financial literacy, CFP® certification, or progress toward financial planning credentials is advantageous.

• An existing network of personal finance creators, bloggers, or affiliates is a plus.

• Familiarity with tools such as Sprout Social, Notion, Asana, Ahrefs, or Semrush is beneficial.
