πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee projects from inception to completion, managing all stages of the process, even in situations with considerable uncertainty.

β€’ Develop and sustain clean, scalable services, components, and APIs, taking responsibility for the quality and dependability of all code you handle.

β€’ Incorporate LLM APIs and AI-driven features into BBM's technical interview preparation services, aiding the community in staying updated with current AI-era engineering methodologies.

β€’ Utilize AI-assisted development as an integral aspect of your engineering process to accelerate progress and enhance efficiency as an independent engineer.

β€’ Create tools and automations that enhance BBM's community operations, encompassing newsletter systems, Discord integrations, and resources for candidates.

β€’ Oversee daily community operations, which includes moderating Discord, interacting with members of varying experience levels, and engaging in study groups.

β€’ Recognize community needs, devise solutions, and implement them effectively.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ At least 5 years of professional experience in designing and delivering web applications or distributed systems to production.

β€’ Expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks (preferably with experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Ruby); comfortable with full-stack development and API design.

β€’ Knowledge of system architecture, database design, cloud infrastructure, and deployment technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

β€’ Familiarity with LLM APIs or AI-enhanced product functionalities; a keen interest in how AI/ML technologies can improve assessment, learning, or community interactions.

β€’ A proven history of independently managing projects from identifying problems to delivering high-quality solutions.

β€’ Active participation in the technical community as a mentor, advisor, or contributor, with a genuine ability to engage with engineers of all experience levels, from new graduates to seasoned professionals.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capable of clearly conveying technical ideas to a non-technical audience when necessary.

β€’ Experience in developing community-oriented technical products or tools, such as Discord bots, automation workflows, developer portals, or similar, is highly advantageous.
