This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of the strategy, growth, and daily operations of the Immigration Benchmarking Collective and associated community initiatives.
• Enhance and maintain membership by fostering meaningful connections among professionals in human resources, talent acquisition, immigration, and global mobility.
• Act as WR Immigration's main community ambassador and relationship manager, cultivating trustworthy relationships with members, potential members, and industry influencers.
• Create an annual community roadmap, programming calendar, engagement objectives, and success metrics that align with marketing and business goals.
• Organize and lead monthly virtual roundtables for the Collective and other valuable discussions for members.
• Develop and oversee community content across platforms such as LinkedIn, newsletters, email campaigns, and community sites.
• Generate thought leadership pieces, benchmarking reports, educational materials, executive communications, and discussion guides that are current, practical, and relevant for members.
• Design and manage benchmarking surveys; analyze the outcomes and convert immigration trends and market developments into actionable business insights.
• Coordinate the Business Immigration Benchmark Podcast, managing topic planning, guest outreach, preparation, scheduling, and promotion.
• Plan and execute around six in-person executive Collective roundtables each year, with breaks in winter and summer programming.
• Oversee event strategy and execution, which includes agendas, speakers, invitations, venue and vendor coordination, attendee communication, facilitation, and follow-up after events.
• Create educational programs, webinars, and executive experiences that promote peer learning, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
• Manage program and event budgets, timelines, vendors, and logistics to ensure a polished and consistent experience for members.
• Establish relationships with leaders in HR, immigration, and global mobility, as well as industry partners, speakers, and sponsors.
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and business leaders to boost membership, enhance event participation, identify partnership opportunities, and assist in business development.
• Develop thoughtful pathways for prospective members and community relationships to deepen their engagement with WR Immigration while preserving the educational value of the community.
• Represent WR Immigration at relevant industry events, conferences, and community programs, as necessary.
• Provide an exceptional member experience through onboarding, regular outreach, networking, responsive support, and relevant programming.
• Cultivate an inclusive and collaborative community focused on trust, practical knowledge sharing, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate member data, participation records, communications, and content within community and marketing systems.
• Collect member feedback and market insights through interviews, surveys, and engagement data to continually enhance programming and inform strategic direction.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators, including membership growth and retention, participation, content engagement, member satisfaction, and influence on business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in community management, member engagement, human resources, talent acquisition, immigration, global mobility, marketing, business development, events, or a related area.
• Proven experience in leading or managing a professional community, member-engagement program, thought-leadership initiative, or executive event series.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft polished executive-facing content and facilitate group discussions.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities and executive presence, with the ability to engage senior leaders in HR, talent acquisition, immigration, and global mobility.
• Demonstrated project and event management skills, capable of overseeing multiple workstreams, deadlines, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Experience in developing content and programming across digital channels such as LinkedIn, newsletters, email, webinars, podcasts, or community platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret survey results, engagement data, and market feedback, translating them into clear insights and recommendations.
• Good judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and comfort operating independently in a highly visible role.
• Tech-savvy with curiosity about AI and emerging productivity tools, demonstrating a willingness to adopt technologies that enhance efficiency and the member experience.
• Proven experience maintaining an active, professional presence on LinkedIn and creating engaging, audience-focused content that builds community, strengthens engagement, and supports thought leadership and brand visibility.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10%–20% of the time for in-person roundtables, conferences, community events, and other business requirements.
