This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee daily interactions across public community, social media, and review platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Trustpilot, Better Business Bureau, and others.
• Engage with patients, caregivers, and the community with empathy, clarity, and a sense of urgency while upholding Dearest Care’s voice and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Direct sensitive or escalated issues to the relevant internal teams, including Customer Service, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Product, and leadership.
• Monitor recurring inquiries, complaints, misunderstandings, and emerging trends, converting them into actionable insights for the organization.
• Guarantee prompt responses across all channels and ensure that public feedback receives attention.
• Develop proactive community engagement strategies that foster trust in Dearest Care and inform patients about advocacy and access methods.
• Distinguish Dearest Care as advocate-led—steering clear of a chatbot, call center, marketplace, or generic navigation vendor.
• Assist in creating templates, escalation playbooks, tone guidelines, and internal documentation to ensure consistent and scalable responses.
• Portray Dearest Care with professionalism, warmth, and discretion in every public engagement.
• At least 3 years of experience in community management, customer communication, social media, public relations, internal communications, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in addressing customers through public channels, particularly in regulated, high-empathy, or high-trust environments.
• Outstanding written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex healthcare or policy subjects into clear, accessible language.
• Skilled in making judgment calls: knowing when to respond, escalate, pause, or investigate public comments further.
• Strong empathy for patients, caregivers, older adults, and families navigating intricate healthcare systems.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Clinical Operations, Marketing, Product, and leadership teams.
• Proactive and ownership-driven mentality—you identify issues early and recognize patterns before they escalate into problems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with care and integrity.
• Experience in healthcare is highly preferred; backgrounds in clinical, caregiving, advocacy, Medicare, or care coordination are beneficial.
• Prior experience in a startup environment is valued, particularly within fast-paced, venture-backed, consumer, healthcare, or technology sectors.
• Possess a sense of humor, sharp online instincts, and the ability to maintain composure in intense digital situations.
