This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct thorough research on relevant discussions, inquiries, and user needs on platforms like Reddit and Quora.
• Create high-quality posts, comments, and responses that offer genuine value to users.
• Oversee Think Academy’s subreddit, including content planning, posting, user engagement, and moderation duties.
• Cultivate relationships and sustain a credible presence within pertinent communities.
• Monitor content performance and proactively seek new growth opportunities.
• Identify and assess emerging online communities that align with Think Academy’s target demographics.
• Analyze the culture, user behavior, content standards, and participation rules of each community.
• Formulate customized engagement strategies for relevant communities.
• Minimum of one year of practical experience managing Reddit and Quora accounts or communities.
• Exceptional English writing, editing, and research capabilities.
• Strong aptitude for analyzing user intent and audience requirements.
• Knowledge of Reddit culture, subreddit regulations, moderation practices, and engagement strategies.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and outcomes.
• Preferred: Experience in managing or expanding a branded subreddit.
• Preferred: Understanding of K–12 education or parent-centric content.
• Preferred: Experience with community analytics, organic growth strategies, or SEO.
• Potential for contract extension after 6 months.
