This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver frontline assistance for DNC Tech's data and technology offerings.
• Address and resolve technical inquiries from campaigns, state parties, and affiliated committees through a Zendesk customer support system.
• Engage in a Community on-call rotation outside of standard business hours as necessary, with increased frequency during even-numbered years.
• Collaborate with the product team on training, communication, and the implementation of new features and datasets.
• Conduct virtual and, occasionally, in-person training sessions on advanced technical topics and tools.
• Keep documentation up to date for DNC technology and data products and their associated processes.
• Build cooperative relationships with state party data personnel through regular one-on-one meetings.
• Address voter file issues and advocate for the needs of state parties.
• Collect user feedback, pinpoint common issues, and assist in automation or product development.
• Provide user experience insights to the Product, Data, and Engineering teams.
• Carry out additional responsibilities that support the department and the DNC’s mission.
• Experience in a political campaign, at a state party, or within a political technology organization.
• Background in a user-, customer-, or volunteer-facing role.
• Familiarity with VoteBuilder; experience with other organizing tools is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fully remote setting with strong asynchronous work practices.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or another language suitable for analyzing large datasets.
• Enthusiasm for training, documentation, and providing one-on-one user support.
• Capability to adapt communication styles for audiences with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Determination and an analytical mindset for resolving complex data and technical challenges.
• Ability to utilize documentation, logs, and prior tickets to investigate issues before escalation.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
• Competence in managing tasks independently, balancing competing priorities, and contributing to team processes.
• Willingness to learn and proactively ask questions.
• Skill in establishing trusting relationships with stakeholders and users.
• Flexibility to quickly adjust to changing priorities, urgent deadlines, and high-stress situations.
• Commitment to enhancing politics, supporting the Democratic Party, and ensuring the nation's future.
• Availability to occasionally work weekends.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
