Communications Officer – Shifting Global Narratives on Masculinity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute communication strategies for the distribution of reports, announcements, events, and other pertinent activities.

• Ensure the prompt updating of new content on menengage.org.

• Release a global newsletter biweekly.

• Create and share social media content across various platforms.

• Facilitate the Global Communications Working Group.

• Engage members for collaborative campaigns and initiatives.

• Utilize digital storytelling to highlight impactful narratives from the network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in communications within the non-profit or social justice sector.

• Strong understanding of intersectional feminism and the ‘men and masculinities’ domain.

• Enthusiasm for the influence of social media in the ‘men and masculinities’ arena.

• A keen and innovative eye for graphic design and visual content.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in graphic design (Canva/Adobe Creative Suite), video editing, and managing CMS and CRM/Email marketing platforms.
