Communications Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Design and implement communication and change management strategies that facilitate customer, operational, technology, and enterprise transformation projects.

• Perform stakeholder assessments and assist with change impact identification efforts.

• Collaborate with project teams to determine communication requirements, risks, dependencies, and strategies for mitigation.

• Develop communication strategies that foster employee awareness, readiness, adoption, and engagement.

• Create content for employees, leaders, customers, and external stakeholders across various platforms, including email, intranet, SharePoint, social media, presentations, web content, and printed materials.

• Produce executive communications, leader talking points, FAQs, communication toolkits, change champion resources, and materials for employee readiness.

• Oversee communication calendars and plans to ensure consistent messaging and coordination across various initiatives.

• Cultivate strong relationships with leaders, subject matter experts, operational teams, training teams, and external collaborators.

• Evaluate employee feedback and engagement data to uncover trends, risks, and areas for improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, change management, employee engagement, or marketing.

• Proven experience in supporting substantial technology, operational, or customer-facing transformations.

• Familiarity with change management methodologies.

• Background in facilitating employee readiness and adoption initiatives.

• Experience in crafting communications and presentations for executive audiences.

• Skilled in conducting workshops, meetings, stakeholder sessions, or managing change champion networks.

• Preferred experience in the utility industry.
