• Define and oversee the long-term strategy for the EVP’s thought leadership initiative.
• Identify avenues for executive positioning, such as speaking opportunities, industry events, and digital presence.
• Create and manage a comprehensive content calendar that encompasses social media, executive blogs, and both internal and external articles to maintain a consistent and authoritative voice.
• Act as the primary point of contact with Global Communications partners to establish and implement media strategies, coordinate interviews, and engage proactively with the media.
• Develop and contribute to detailed briefing materials and messaging documents to prepare for media engagements.
• Write, edit, and deliver high-quality strategic content, including presentations, talking points, and messaging frameworks and assets.
• Provide strategic oversight and quality assurance for content deliverables throughout the Operations organization.
• Lead significant business projects, applying independent judgment to define methods and evaluation criteria.
• Anticipate business and industry challenges, proposing innovative strategies to adapt to evolving demands.
• Manage multiple complex projects concurrently with a detail-oriented and proactive approach, ensuring alignment among stakeholders and consistently delivering high-quality results.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related experience, OR Master’s degree with 8 years of related experience, OR PhD with 5 years of related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, influence executive-level stakeholders, and persuade senior-level individuals to embrace new perspectives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in modern storytelling techniques to drive engagement in a corporate environment.
• Strong capability to lead large-scale projects that could impact the enterprise and manage competing priorities within a dynamic environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of Cisco’s narrative, technologies, services, and solutions, along with the ability to foresee their alignment with global industry trends.
