This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate trends in media coverage and sentiment utilizing media monitoring tools to shape strategy and create insights-driven summaries for campaigns.
• Perform research and analysis to bolster communication initiatives with actionable suggestions that guide our strategy.
• Develop media lists, briefing materials, pitch templates, image research, and additional resources to facilitate media opportunities and campaign implementation.
• Acquire skills to prompt, manage, and enhance AI tools in line with the guidelines and practices of the Communications team.
• Oversee PR team operations, which includes managing meeting agendas, drafting internal newsletters, and more.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply, ideally with a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline.
• Applicants must be available to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) throughout the 6-month internship period.
• Prior experience from previous internships in public relations or communications, especially within an agency, is preferred.
• Strong communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to produce organized, professional, and succinct written materials.
• Well-organized and resourceful: You can prioritize tasks while effectively navigating a fast-paced environment as part of a distributed team.
• Proactive problem-solver: You anticipate questions and challenges before they occur and are comfortable taking the initiative.
• News enthusiast: You stay updated on current trends and excel at spotting opportunities for engagement.
• Inquisitive and creative: You enjoy brainstorming sessions and are motivated by a desire to learn new skills and embrace emerging technologies.
• Team-oriented: Your positive demeanor and collaborative spirit contribute to building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues.
• Familiarity with AI tools is highly desirable, and knowledge of media monitoring tools such as Muck Rack, TVEyes, Zignal Labs, etc., is an advantage.
• Compensation for this role ranges from $27 to $30 per hour.
