Communications Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and implementation of communication strategies for business units, project teams, and local cooperatives.

• Generate content for both internal and external communication platforms.

• Support branding and communication efforts by maintaining consistent messaging, voice, and tone.

• Offer communication guidance and assistance to local cooperatives and FCL teams.

• Aid teams in applying effective communication practices, enhancing messaging, and addressing diverse communication requirements.

• Collaborate closely with Communications Advisors and Associates.

• Report directly to a Senior Communications Advisor.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of pertinent experience as a strategic communicator within a complex organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field; a combination of relevant education and experience may be accepted.

• Excellent writing abilities.

• Proficient with digital and social media platforms.

• Experience using content management systems.

• Membership in IABC or CPRS is considered a plus.

• May be required to undergo a criminal record check in accordance with FCL policies.
