Commissioning Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Supervise the commissioning process for various data center construction initiatives from the planning stage to execution.

• Create and put into action commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, commissioning agents, contractors, vendors, owners, and tenant commissioning personnel.

• Organize vendor on-site activities in advance of Level 3 tasks.

• Examine project documents to ensure that commissioning requirements are fulfilled.

• Oversee commissioning-related documentation using Cx Alloy and ensure its accuracy and completeness.

• Manage documentation associated with the commissioning closeout process.

• Lead commissioning teams during on-site operations.

• Conduct inspections, testing, and validation of systems and components.

• Identify and resolve issues to guarantee that systems operate as intended.

• Record commissioning activities and outcomes.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

• Establish and implement quality assurance processes.

• Provide training to staff on commissioning procedures and safety measures.

• Maintain communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

• Offer updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive commissioning reports.

• Assess commissioning processes and propose enhancements.

• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in commissioning, ideally within the Mission Critical Industry.

• Strong comprehension of commissioning processes, procedures, and standards.

• Demonstrated experience managing commissioning projects from initiation to completion.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software.

• Professional certification in commissioning, such as CCP or BCxP.

• Experience with specific systems or technologies pertinent to the industry.
