Commissioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Execute commissioning tasks utilizing the TIA application software (PLC / WinCC) for sorting and distribution systems within existing installations in the CEP industry.

• Assist in the development of hardware solutions for PLC control migration from S5 to S7 and from PC to S7.

• Conduct independent root-cause analyses and acceptance testing in accordance with both system-specific and customer-specific requirements.

• Create customer documentation and facilitate training sessions for clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in automation engineering or automation informatics; alternatively, a similar qualification as a technician or master craftsman.

• Preliminary experience in the commissioning of conveyor systems.

• Familiarity with sorting and distribution systems within the CEP sector.

• Solid understanding of S7 control hardware/software, WinCC, drive and inverter technology, networks, and MS Office applications.

• Proficient written and spoken English communication skills.

• Willingness to travel over 70% of the time across Europe.

• Strong skills in teamwork and effective communication.
