Commission Information Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage a spreadsheet containing all carrier portals and websites along with their respective password and login details.

• Utilize daily EFT downloads from the bank and check deposit information to identify commissions received.

• Download and account for all commission statements from carrier portals, efaxes, emails, and US mail, ensuring they are electronically saved in the appropriate directory.

• Investigate any missing or unidentified statements.

• Format assigned statements into the required Excel format for revenue coding and broker commission payments.

• Input data into the Stateable system.

• Liaise with carrier representatives regarding any missing statements.

• Monitor and quantify open support tickets with third-party vendors.

• Provide assistance with special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

• Strong customer service skills are essential.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks is necessary.

• Must be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Analytical thinking skills and attention to detail are crucial.

• Ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgment is important.

• High ethical standards and integrity are expected.

• Ability to collaborate with computer programmers and navigate system logic is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups), is essential.

• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are advantageous.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods, lift a minimum of 5 lbs, file, stand, bend, reach, and pull.
