Commercial Title Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Offers Nationwide title services.

• Tasked with supporting real estate transactions by researching public records and assessing titles for properties to ascertain the legal status of property titles as part of a production center, branch office, or within a title team.

• Gathers, investigates, and reviews public and tax records to identify liabilities and the legal standing of the title, as well as the insurability of mainly commercial or industrial property titles.

• Produces precise and thorough title commitments in line with company examining and policy standards.

• Adheres to established procedures and guidelines.

• Comprehends how their team collaborates with related teams to achieve objectives.

• Influences the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of the team through personal contributions.

• Identifies and resolves uncommon issues that arise infrequently.

• Assesses and chooses solutions from established precedents or procedures.

• Communicates and clarifies intricate information, including interdependencies within the team and with others.

• Operates with limited supervision and may exercise discretion to adjust work practices and processes to attain results or enhance efficiency.

• Functions as an individual contributor, serving as a resource for less experienced team members; does not hold supervisory duties.

• Carries out all other responsibilities as directed by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• Generally requires 5+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in Commercial Title in the state of Florida.
