Commercial Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor for our largest customers and potential clients.

• Design and construct observability solutions utilizing OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.

• Convert intricate customer needs into scalable and high-performing Dash0 implementations.

• Develop and carry out Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0's technical abilities.

• Provide technical demonstrations and presentations for engineering and executive audiences.

• Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales process.

• Lead the setup of observability, telemetry data modeling, and the design of OpenTelemetry collectors.

• Create and sustain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.

• Contribute to technical content such as blog posts, conference presentations, and documentation.

• Engage in both Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.

• Practical experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance enhancement.

• Strong grasp of contemporary DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering methodologies.

• Proven track record in creating and executing technical demos, architectures, and POCs that demonstrate business value.

• Excellent technical communication abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing and addressing technical issues.

• Experience in pre-sales or Sales Engineering within a B2B SaaS organization (preferred).

• Active involvement in OpenTelemetry or the wider observability ecosystem (preferred).

• Familiarity with Salesforce or HubSpot (preferred).

• Experience in a fast-paced, venture-backed startup environment (preferred).

• Proficient in English.
