Commercial Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for customers and prospects within the commercial segment.

• Design and architect observability solutions utilizing OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.

• Convert customer needs into scalable, high-performance, and maintainable Dash0 implementations.

• Develop and implement Proofs of Concept that showcase Dash0's technical capabilities.

• Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations for both engineering and executive audiences.

• Work in collaboration with Account Executives throughout the sales process.

• Offer architectural guidance and best practices for observability setup, telemetry data modeling, and OpenTelemetry collector design.

• Create and maintain reusable demo environments, reference architectures, and POC templates.

• Collaborate with Product Management to provide technical insights that shape the roadmap and prioritize features.

• Engage in both pre-sales and post-sales activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive technical expertise in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing.

• Practical experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization.

• Strong comprehension of contemporary DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices.

• Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex observability concepts to both engineers and decision-makers.

• Proficiency in developing and executing technical demos, architectures, and Proofs of Concept that illustrate business value.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot (preferred).

• Contributions to technical content such as blog posts, conference presentations, or open-source documentation (preferred).

• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem and community (preferred).

• Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup environment (preferred).
