• Utilize comprehensive product, technical, and application knowledge to advocate for Gypsum Division offerings.
• Develop and maintain robust relationships with gypsum specialty dealers and contractors.
• Collaborate effectively with contractor specialty representatives.
• Drive sales volume growth and enhance gross profit margins.
• Foster connections to elevate preference for USG Gypsum products.
• Efficiently handle the complaint resolution process.
• Leverage Salesforce.com to manage customer data and oversee job tracking.
• Keep track of and report on competitive activities.
• Provide support in addressing technical inquiries related to Gypsum products.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years of outside sales experience in the building industry or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of residential and commercial construction practices.
• Prior outside sales experience demonstrating a proven track record of growth.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
• Experience with Salesforce.com is essential.
• Strong skills in organization, time management, and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
