Commercial Renewals Broker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assisting and efficiently overseeing the renewal process for current customers within your account portfolio to guarantee smooth retention.

• Diligently examining all account policy information for precision and ensuring no errors in client documentation.

• Sustaining effective communication with clients to thoroughly comprehend their distinct insurance needs and providing strategic recommendations.

• Consulting customers on "silent exclusions" or coverage gaps and suggesting additional lines to enhance their risk management framework.

• Collaborating with insurance partners to negotiate and formulate the most advantageous insurance packages for each client.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a valid broker license for your province and have over 1 year of P&C experience, with prior commercial broking experience being highly desirable.

• CIP, CAIB, or CRM designation is considered an asset.

• You excel at simplifying complex insurance concepts into straightforward language that clients can easily understand.

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing a BMS or other digital tools to optimize workflows and manage a high volume of client data.

• You excel in collaborating with colleagues, underwriting teams, and partners to accomplish shared objectives and provide seamless service.

• You tackle challenges with determination and adaptability, consistently achieving set targets and discovering innovative solutions.

• You possess strong prioritization abilities and have shown flexibility in managing a diverse portfolio of clients and tasks concurrently.

• You maintain a keen attention to detail, ensuring precision in all policy and account management activities.
