Commercial Rack Refrigeration Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.

• Service supermarket rack refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-in cases, and associated equipment.

• Conduct preventative maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

• Accurately record service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Engage professionally with customers while delivering exceptional service.

• Adhere to all company and industry safety protocols and refrigeration best practices.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 emergency support.

• Assist with additional service tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration.

• Extensive experience with supermarket or convenience store rack refrigeration systems.

• Capability to troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment autonomously.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.

• Experience with various refrigerants.

• Technical training from a trade school, apprenticeship, RSES, or equivalent experience.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and dedication to quality craftsmanship.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
