This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Collaborate with the Producer to assess policy copies and applications, engaging in discussions about accounts, market alternatives, coverages, pricing, and marketing strategies.
• Create a comprehensive and detailed submission for potential new business accounts, including company-specific applications using FormPro or Epic custom forms, loss summaries, driver lists, and any other relevant information.
• Support Producers in collecting information to secure quotes for new business when required.
• Present accounts to insurance providers, negotiating pricing and coverages, and addressing underwriting inquiries with Producers and/or potential/existing clients.
• Develop precise, thorough, and professional insurance proposals and consult with Producers on any recommendations or options to be presented.
• Calculate rate exposures for insurance companies willing to share rating information with our agency.
• Summarize losses for evaluation at various deductible or retention levels.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all relevant business-related activities and communications regarding clients' accounts, adhering to agency procedures and guidelines to ensure the protection and security of sensitive client information.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets, particularly in transportation.
• An active General Lines or Property & Casualty License is mandatory.
• Professional Insurance designations such as CIC, CPCU, etc., are essential.
• Transportation-specific designations like TRIP, STAR, etc., are preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Applied Epic is preferred; however, familiarity with similar Account Management Systems (AMS) is acceptable.
