Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Account Manager to deliver prompt and professional service to clients.

• Acquire knowledge of assigned accounts while adhering to department standards for client service, professionalism, and work ethic.

• Manage emails in agency mailboxes and direct renewal-related items to the Account Manager.

• Address customer inquiries swiftly regarding policy modifications.

• Initiate or handle certificate requests.

• Support the Account Manager in marketing activities during the marketing and quotation phases.

• Assist clients and policyholders with filing claims or updating claim information.

• Process renewal certificates efficiently.

• Prepare and manage customer correspondence, certificates of insurance, binders, cancellation requests, insurance ID cards, and internal communications.

• Schedule activities and follow-ups while maintaining accurate client files in the agency management system.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• Ability to communicate information and respond to inquiries effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• A valid Property and Casualty Insurance License is mandatory.

• Fundamental understanding of insurance products.

• Familiarity with insurance rating and underwriting principles.

• Capability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.

• Ergonomic desk and chair setup, accommodating two large monitors and a laptop.

• A quiet workspace free from background noise is essential.

• High-speed internet connection of 50MB up and down or greater is required.

• Wired internet connection is necessary; Wi-Fi is not acceptable.
