Commercial Lines Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Managing policies (both new and renewal) for Cross Insurance's commercial clientele

• Developing and nurturing robust relationships with clients, underwriters, and other industry professionals

• Addressing customer inquiries, including questions regarding coverage and requests for documentation

• Following up with underwriters to ensure timely receipt of quotes

• Generating binders for New Accounts

• Responding to inquiries from Customer Service Representatives (CSRs)

• Assisting in resolving audit disputes

• Ensuring prompt payment of agency bill invoices and initiating policy cancellations when payments are not received according to Cross guidelines

• Directing clients to other branches of Cross Insurance as needed

• Gathering applications and underwriting information from Account Executives (AEs)

• Completing the “Yes” or “No” sections of the CL Checklist

• Adding Master Certificates of Insurance (COIs) & Evidence of Property Insurance (EPIs) when new accounts are established

• Drafting new policy issuance instructions, quote guidelines, and renewal instructions for the insurance company

• Participating in monthly meetings with the Commercial Lines (CL) team to review marketing strategies

• Compiling renewal summaries and proposals

• Preparing submissions and proposals for new business

• Visiting clients as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent customer service capabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
