This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with restaurant and hospitality managers to deliver comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and specialty food service equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen equipment.
• Interpret diagrams and schematics to facilitate diagnosis and repairs.
• Liaise with manufacturers to assist in diagnosis and parts identification.
• Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for onsite technical support.
• Install customer-ordered parts promptly and professionally in accordance with company policies.
• Recommend and promote Smart Care services to customers when appropriate.
• Create precise administrative documents, including work orders, time reports, receipts, and truck stock inventories.
• Adhere to safe work practices and accident prevention protocols.
• Keep a tidy service vehicle and maintain accurate parts and tool inventories.
• Sustain productivity levels in line with company standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Willingness and capability to engage in the emergency on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Capacity to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized steam equipment, open flames, heated surfaces, liquids, and the risk of electrical shock in damp, humid, or freezing environments.
• Proficiency in working on ladders, roofs, and other elevated areas.
• Preferred: relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications such as EPA or CFESA.
• Preferred: experience in commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair.
• Preferred: self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
