Commercial Kitchen Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with restaurant and hospitality managers to provide comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialized food service equipment.

• Exhibit your mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and competence in reading diagrams and schematics.

• Efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Kitchen Equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialized food service equipment.

• Communicate with manufacturers as necessary to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.

• Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for technical support while on-site.

• Install all parts ordered for the customer promptly and professionally, adhering to company policy.

• Promote and suggest additional services offered by Smart Care to customers when appropriate.

• Generate precise and timely administrative documents, such as work orders, time reports, receipts, and truck stock inventory.

• Adhere to safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.

• Keep a tidy and organized service vehicle, along with an accurate inventory of parts and tools.

• Maintain productivity levels in alignment with company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• One year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

• Willingness and capability to participate in the emergency on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.

• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.

• Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (e.g., EPA, CFESA).

• Experience in commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair.

• Self-driven with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
