Commercial IT Team Lead – Data Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the Commercial IT team throughout the duration of the project.

• Define and manage the team's objectives, scope, and deliverables.

• Translate overarching project milestones into specific deadlines and delivery plans for the team.

• Monitor the team's progress to ensure alignment with project milestones.

• Assign, coordinate, and track tasks within the Commercial IT team.

• Identify and provide necessary tools, resources, and capabilities for successful delivery.

• Manage team priorities, capacity, and resource distribution.

• Control project expenditures and oversee the allocated budget.

• Assist Programme Management with the definition and monitoring of KPIs.

• Serve as a liaison between senior management and cross-functional project teams.

• Collaborate with business, IT, data, and other stakeholders.

• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and obstacles to delivery.

• Provide progress reports to senior stakeholders.

• Ensure that outputs meet the defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

• Escalate issues as necessary and drive prompt resolutions.

• Promote collaboration and effective communication among project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an IT Team Lead, IT Delivery Lead, IT Project Lead, Commercial IT Lead, or a similar role.

• Extensive experience in leading and coordinating IT teams through complex transformation initiatives.

• Proven ability to manage project scope, milestones, resources, and deliverables effectively.

• Strong capabilities in project planning and delivery management.

• Experience in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation.

• Comprehensive understanding of project governance, KPIs, risks, issues, and dependencies.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management, including interaction with senior/upper management.

• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and handle competing priorities.

• Experience in assigning and tracking work across a delivery team.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and reporting skills.

• Capability to work independently in a remote, international setting.

• Comfortable working within CET time zones.

• Desirable: experience with data migration programs.

• Desirable: experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.

• Desirable: experience with SAP / S/4HANA transformation projects.

• Desirable: experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated sectors.

• Desirable: experience managing global or multi-country project teams.

• Desirable: experience across planning, build, testing, cutover, and go-live phases.
