Commercial Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Commercial Team to aid in the development of a comprehensive business growth strategy.

• Perform market analysis and pinpoint opportunities to bolster the sales growth plan.

• Assist in market and customer analysis to uncover GE Vernova growth prospects.

• Support proposal and deal activities, which include customer proposal development, risk assessment, contract evaluation, and competitive positioning.

• Collaborate with commercial teams on pricing, forecasting, and sales operations tasks.

• Engage in projects aimed at enhancing commercial processes, tools, dashboards, and reporting.

• Contribute to tangible business growth initiatives.

• Undertake a demanding assignment within the power generation sector, concentrating on power markets, customers, and technology.

• Receive a detailed internship job description roughly one month prior to the start date if selected for hire.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering or technical science field.

• Eligible majors encompass all engineering disciplines, including Mechanical, Power Systems, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, and Industrial Engineering.

• Business majors will be considered if they exhibit a proven technical aptitude.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• GE Vernova will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, neither now nor in the future.

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

• Proven project management and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

• A genuine passion for the energy sector and customer service.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if applicable.
