Commercial HVAC/R Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and perform equipment inspections.

• Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units.

• Identify the root causes of equipment failures and execute necessary repairs.

• Test systems post-repair to ensure safe and proper functionality.

• Clearly communicate findings, repair requirements, and recommendations to customers.

• Accurately complete service documentation in a timely manner.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment.

• Travel to customer locations within the designated service area.

• Work independently in the field, servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/R service.

• EPA Certification is mandatory.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities are essential.

• Experience in servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems is required.

• Capability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.

• Technical school training in HVAC/R or equivalent field experience is preferred.

• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull.

• Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Capability to climb ladders and work at heights.

• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
