Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections of equipment.

• Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

• Identify root causes of equipment failures and perform necessary repairs.

• Test systems post-repair to ensure safe and effective operation.

• Clearly communicate findings, repair requirements, and recommendations to customers.

• Accurately complete service documentation in a timely manner.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

• Travel to customer locations within the designated service area.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of preferred experience in commercial HVAC/R service.

• EPA Certification is required.

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.

• Experience in servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Professional communication and customer service abilities.

• A valid driver's license is necessary.

• Technical school HVAC/R training or equivalent field experience is preferred.

• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship is required.

• Capability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull.

• Ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions.
