Commercial HVAC Service Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections and maintenance of air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling units.

• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and refrigerant lines.

• Service refrigeration systems such as refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps.

• Manage chilled and hot water supply systems and fine-tune internal control systems.

• Assemble and install metal ductwork efficiently.

• Assist in the planning and design of HVAC systems.

• Keep comprehensive maintenance records to ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations.

• Recognize and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with management to uphold safety and operational standards.

• Deliver expert, high-quality service to commercial HVAC customers in the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.

• Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

• EPA Universal Certification required.

• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, and squat for prolonged durations.

• Ability to climb ladders as needed.

• Willingness to work on rooftops.

• High School Diploma or GED is necessary.

• Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.

• Basic knowledge of building automation controls is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and ServiceMax is advantageous.
