Commercial HVAC Chiller Journeyman Technician – Union

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Perform inspections and maintenance on air-conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.

• Diagnose and rectify both mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling systems.

• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, such as thermostatic controls and liquid lines.

• Oversee the maintenance of chilled and hot water supply systems and make adjustments to internal control systems.

• Contribute to the planning and design of HVAC systems.

• Ensure adherence to City, State, and EPA regulations by keeping thorough maintenance records.

• Identify and address risks to foster a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with management to uphold safety and operational standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry.

• At least 6 months of practical experience working with chillers.

• Capability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Possession of EPA Universal certification.

• Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, and squat for extended periods, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Must hold and maintain a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.
