This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the finance and strategy business partner for a dedicated sales team.
• Oversee the reporting of monthly results.
• Evaluate business drivers and relay insights to Finance and Sales leadership.
• Anticipate significant business challenges and deliver regular reporting, forecasting, and necessary analyses, along with data-driven recommendations for the Company.
• Manage the area budget and monthly forecasting processes.
• Handle personnel planning to ensure that area sales targets are achieved.
• Analyze the financial implications of business decisions related to the sales team.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and the Analytics team to design, manage, and assess the effectiveness of commission structures.
• Work with Operations, Financial Systems, and Analytics teams to gather data required for complex analyses.
• Partner with the Sales and Analytics teams to formulate pricing and discount strategies aimed at maximizing profitability margins.
• Provide credible recommendations regarding the hiring, termination, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees, which the Company will consider seriously.
• MBA is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics is preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance or on Strategic Teams.
• Experience in a public company is preferred.
• Background in the Technology industry is preferred.
• CFA designation is preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP is required.
• Skill in constructing financial models is necessary.
• Proficiency in handling large data sets using Access, Excel (including modeling and VBA), and SQL.
• A strong analytical capability with a proven track record of structuring business cases around high-level strategic visions.
• Excellent strategic skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate key points, implications, and recommendations effectively.
• An advanced comprehension of corporate financial planning, reporting & analysis, and costing/profitability methodologies and processes is essential.
