Commercial Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Analyze commercial construction plans, drawings, specifications, and associated project documentation.

• Conduct precise quantity takeoffs utilizing PlanSwift or similar estimating tools.

• Gather, organize, and maintain project measurement data necessary for estimating tasks.

• Interpret project scope, notes, and specifications to ensure comprehensive and accurate takeoffs.

• Proactively communicate about project requirements, workload capacity, and timelines.

• Provide completed takeoffs and estimating outputs within established deadlines.

• Collaborate closely with the estimating manager to clarify project needs and address discrepancies.

• Adhere to established SOPs, workflows, and quality assurance protocols.

• Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail in all deliverables.

• Assist with ongoing process enhancements and documentation initiatives as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.

• Extensive experience in performing quantity takeoffs from commercial construction drawings.

• Proficiency in PlanSwift or similar estimating/takeoff software.

• Advanced skills in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work.

• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and terminology.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality standards.

• Reliable remote work setup with stable internet access.

• Experience in supporting U.S.-based commercial construction projects.

• Familiarity with OneDrive or similar document-sharing platforms.

• Experience with various estimating or takeoff software platforms.

• Previous experience working remotely with distributed teams.

• Relevant construction-related degree, diploma, or technical education.

• Experience in contributing to improvements in estimating processes or workflow optimization.
