This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Oversee the commercial strategy by developing and implementing comprehensive strategies across all revenue channels, including Group, Conference, and Events (GCE), Rooms, Food and Beverage, Leisure, and Spa.
β’ Direct the pricing and forecasting strategy: Manage revenue management practices, including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews to enhance revenue across all segments.
β’ Synchronize sales and marketing initiatives: Collaborate on-property and with regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations efforts to bolster brand positioning and stimulate demand.
β’ Foster a high-performing team: Encourage engagement and retention through performance management, professional development opportunities, and recognition programs.
β’ Spearhead the hotel's commercial strategy: Supervise Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Reservations, and Business Development functions to drive overall commercial performance.
β’ Boost revenue and market share: Formulate commercial strategies that optimize revenue, profitability, and competitive positioning across all segments.
β’ Evaluate market opportunities: Track market trends, competitor activities, customer insights, and demand patterns to uncover growth and expansion opportunities.
β’ Monitor commercial performance: Assess commercial indicators, forecasts, budgets, and business plans to ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
β’ Represent the Resort, Brand, and Company: Serve as a key ambassador for the Resort in the marketplace, enhancing brand visibility and discovering new business opportunities.
β’ Maximize revenue and profitability: Collaborate with the General Manager and Finance to ensure that commercial decisions align with revenue objectives, enhance cost of sales, and achieve profit and margin targets.
β’ Strengthen partnerships: Cultivate trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners to align objectives and create sustained commercial value.
β’ Develop and inspire teams: Coach, mentor, and support the Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Reservations teams while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
β’ A minimum of ten (10) years of leadership experience in hotel/resort sales and marketing.
β’ At least three (3) years of experience in leading Revenue Management.
β’ Proven experience managing independent and luxury resorts.
β’ Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, both nationally and internationally.
β’ Preferred qualifications include:
β’ Familiarity with the local market.
β’ Experience in collaborating with hotel/resort colleagues, managers, and directors to ensure teamwork; also working with any βpartnersβ (e.g., Public Relations Firms) as an extension of the resort/hotel team.
β’ General understanding of contract laws.
β’ Proficiency in Delphi and other digital sales tools.
β’ Experience in presenting strategic plans to senior executives and partner groups.
β’ Background in collaborating within complex, matrixed organizations.
β’ Exposure to Marketing, E-Commerce, and Finance responsibilities.
