Commercial Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide innovative and significant insights for client organizations utilizing machine learning and AI technologies.

• Partner with Product, Platform Data, Insights & Strategy, and Sales teams to develop analyses that are client-facing.

• Develop data products from the ground up and automate reusable code for colleagues and future initiatives.

• Utilize extensive healthcare datasets to discover and categorize behavioral trends among medical professionals.

• Collaborate within cross-functional delivery teams, working alongside analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Surpass client expectations in a dynamic work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in similar roles involving complex, high-volume, structured, and unstructured datasets.

• Previous experience in a data science consulting position at companies such as ZS, Trinity, IQVIA, BlueMatter, etc.

• Advanced understanding of statistical principles, especially exploratory data analysis, experimental design, and probability theory.

• Profound knowledge of contemporary machine learning methodologies.

• Capability to design, train, and assess large-scale production models utilizing PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• High-level SQL expertise, including complex query formation and optimization across multiple tables and data relationships.

• Advanced skills in Python, encompassing object-oriented programming, production-quality code design, and modern data science libraries.

• Practical experience with distributed data processing tools and scalable analysis and model training concepts.

• Exceptional data visualization and narrative-building skills.

• Ability to convey technical insights into clear stories for both internal and client stakeholders.

• Proven enthusiasm for data, ongoing education, and staying updated with machine learning advancements.
