
Commercial Appliance Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
β’ The Commercial Appliance Technician is tasked with addressing customer work orders assigned by their service manager.
β’ This role involves traveling to various customer locations to diagnose and resolve issues as required.
β’ The technician will receive a van, a company fuel card, a credit card, a phone, and an iPad.
β’ All work orders are dispatched electronically via the phone/iPad the day before.
β’ The technician is expected to promptly review these work orders to familiarize themselves with their schedule for the following day.
β’ The Service Technician is required to take their vehicle home each night.
β’ The Service Technician will communicate with their manager based in Albany via phone.
β’ The service manager is always available to provide support for any questions or concerns the technician may have.
β’ The Service Technician must adhere to all company policies and procedures, both internally and in dealings with customers.
β’ A clean driving record is essential.
β’ Candidates must be prepared to drive up to 2 hours (one way) for service calls.
β’ Preferred experience includes maintenance, troubleshooting, and replacement of TurboChef, Merry Chef, Bunn, Mastrena, Hatco, Clover Vertica, Franke, or similar equipment.
β’ Familiarity with the Facility Services industry is preferred.
β’ A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Refrigeration certification is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
β’ Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
β’ A drug test and background check must be successfully completed prior to starting work.
