This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with executive-level decision makers concerning outcome-based facility solutions.
• Arrange introductory meetings with key decision makers regarding enhancements, repairs, and modernization of facility infrastructure.
• Enter new markets and accounts, cultivate relationships with influential decision makers, discover opportunities, propose solutions, negotiate, and secure business.
• Comprehend customers’ operations and recognize value through Honeywell's technology, solutions, and resources.
• Organize customer-facing and internal initiatives to craft value propositions and proposals that achieve orders and meet or surpass targets.
• Adhere to Honeywell’s Sales Operating System, which includes CRM utilization, weekly forecasting, monthly pipeline assessments, and quarterly walk-to-plan activities.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing proposals that include technical and financial solutions, cost savings, and greenhouse-gas reduction strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy, off-grid generation and storage, LEED accreditation, and carbon monetization.
• Oversee a structured, milestone-driven sales process that focuses on financial drivers and customer needs.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to identify customer requirements for financial, carbon-reduction, resilience, and technology solutions.
• Travel as necessary, up to 30%.
• Over 7 years of sales experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in complex sales and/or business development.
• Background in industrial, pharmaceutical, high-tech manufacturing, or commercial-building sectors.
• 3 years of experience with Energy Service Companies (ESCO).
• Proven track record of opening new accounts, engaging upper management, and developing sales pipelines that convert to orders.
• Experience in developing distributed energy resource projects, including solar PV, microgrids, and Combined Heat and Power generation assets.
• Experience in leading technical teams to develop projects that align with customer initiatives and objectives.
• Familiarity with Energy Service Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, and Energy Savings Performance Contracts.
• Willingness to travel as required, up to 30%.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or hold protected status under asylum or refugee law, in accordance with U.S. export control regulations.
