This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Position yourself as a reliable advisor to executive decision-makers regarding outcome-oriented facility solutions that enhance success in fulfilling their unique missions.

• Arrange introductory meetings with high-level decision-makers to explore business solutions, including the improvement, repair, and modernization of their facility infrastructure.

• Enter new markets or accounts, identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, discover new business opportunities, propose differentiated solutions, negotiate, and secure contracts. Engage at various levels within target customer organizations.

• Cultivate and exhibit a robust understanding of the customer’s business. Determine how Honeywell can provide value through technology, solutions, and resources.

• Coordinate both customer-facing and internal initiatives to create compelling value propositions and proposals that secure orders and meet or exceed targets.

• Implement top-tier sales methodologies to maximize sales potential. Adhere to the Sales Operating System (SOS) guidelines, focusing on disciplined use of our CRM, precise weekly forecasting, monthly pipeline assessments, and quarterly plan reviews.

• Lead a cross-functional support team to create comprehensive proposals that encompass technical solutions, financial options, overall cost efficiencies, and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the emerging renewable energy sector, off-grid generation/storage, LEED certification, and carbon monetization.

• Manage a disciplined sales process that delivers value to clients by focusing on financial drivers and established development milestones and requirements.

• Employ consultative selling techniques to identify customer challenges and needs related to financial, carbon reduction, resilience, and technological objectives.

• Willingness to travel as necessary, up to 30%.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of sales experience.

• At least 5 years of complex sales and/or business development experience in one or more of the following sectors: industrial, pharmaceutical, high-tech manufacturing, and commercial buildings.

• 3 years of experience with Energy Service Companies (ESCOs).

• Proven history of establishing new accounts, engaging with upper-level management, and creating a pipeline of opportunities that convert into orders.

• Bachelor's or Technical Degree.

• Experience in developing distributed energy resource projects, including solar PV, microgrids, and Combined Heat and Power generation assets.

• Previous experience leading a technical team in developing projects that effectively addressed specific customer initiatives and goals.

• Solid understanding of alternative project delivery models, including Energy Service Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, and Energy Savings Performance Contracts.
