Commercial Analytics Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact and provide dedicated, embedded Business Intelligence support for the designated division.

• Maintain regular communication and foster close collaboration with DVPs, Regional Managers, District Managers, and Strategic Account Leads.

• Deliver insights focused on execution and provide thought leadership regarding sales, performance-to-plan, and results.

• Highlight sales and program results, risks, and opportunities to the sales leadership team.

• Lead opportunity analysis, which includes identifying targeted accounts, performing distribution gap analysis, assessing display execution and effectiveness, and exploring key/BTG account opportunities.

• Communicate the market-level implications of Strategic Account programming, along with wins and losses in distribution.

• Develop tools and provide market-specific training and real-time support for field teams.

• Offer expanded and responsive ad-hoc analytics support for distributor GSMs, meetings, and retail sales calls.

• Collaborate with the Commercial Analytics Analyst and the broader BI team on Power BI reporting, tool development, and strategic solutions.

• Support planning, program tracking and ROI, launch/reset execution, as well as distributor and retail Top-to-Top meetings.

• Identify opportunities to enhance analytics processes and tools with Sales, Marketing, and Brand Excellence.

• Assist in distributor transitions and ERP system changes while ensuring continuity in reporting.

• Transform complex data sets into executive-level presentations and insight decks for senior management.

• Promote a data-driven culture within the division.

• Join division sales leaders at significant distributor meetings to understand and tackle business challenges.

• Carry out additional related duties as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, sales analytics, and/or category insights is necessary.

• Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is required.

• Proficient understanding of Power BI and data modeling concepts.

• Capability to guide report development and interpret DAX-based analyses.

• Experience in reading, interpreting, and extracting insights from Circana/Nielsen and distributor syndicated data.

• Commercial experience working alongside sales personnel from executive to field levels to derive audience-targeted insights.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership.

• Self-motivated with robust organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively.

• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, teamwork, and composure under pressure.
