• Take ownership of the complete new-business sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
• Target, engage, and convert Commercial accounts with revenues under $1.5B in sectors such as Finance (banking, fintech, insurance), Technology, and Manufacturing.
• Create and sustain a robust sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, collaboration with partners, participation in events, and networking efforts.
• Deliver engaging presentations and demonstrations that convey OPSWAT’s value, highlighting how the protection of files and devices mitigates risk, enhances operational resilience, and improves compliance.
• Formulate territory strategies to penetrate new organizations, extend engagement, and accelerate revenue growth.
• Develop account strategies to foster business expansion within existing accounts by fostering consensus among stakeholders and across various business units.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on vertical campaigns, demand generation, and targeted industry events.
• Work alongside Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to position appropriate solutions, ensure a seamless post-sales handoff, and maximize long-term customer value.
• Maintain precise forecasting and pipeline management within the CRM system.
• Represent OPSWAT at industry events, conferences, and regional forums.
• Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes that affect target industries.
• Must reside in the Northeastern United States.
• 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales; experience in cybersecurity or related technology is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new logos and consistently achieving quotas.
• Experience selling into one or more of the following sectors: Banking/Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, or Technology.
• Strong capability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders, including IT, Security, Compliance, and Operations.
• Exceptional at articulating business value rather than merely product features.
• Strong prospecting skills: able to create a pipeline rather than waiting for it to come to you.
• Proficient in building relationships at the executive level and transforming business challenges into cybersecurity use cases.
• A data-driven approach to pipeline management, territory planning, and forecasting.
• High energy, self-motivated, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficient in CRM systems.
